The problem
British School wanted to offer its students a way to practice conversation outside of class hours, without having to pay a native speaker for each session. The limitations were the cost per student and the difficulty of finding tutors available for flexible time slots.
Agent tutors by level
We’ve built a platform with specialized AI tutors: each has a level (A1–C2), an accent (British, American, Australian), a personality, and an area of expertise. The student chooses a tutor, chooses between Conversation or Role Play, selects a realistic scenario (‘At the Doctor’s Office’, ‘Job Interview’, ‘My Job in a Business Meeting’), and starts speaking.
Realistic voice conversation
The agent understands the student’s level, adapts to the complexity of the vocabulary, corrects pronunciation errors in real time, and maintains the natural flow of the conversation. An integrated dashboard tracks hours of practice, recurring errors, and progress against the CEFR.
Results
Students’ speaking practice hours increased by 51% and fluency 78% with 30% increase in new admission in the first three months. British School added enormous perceived value to the training package, reducing the marginal cost per hour of speaking to virtually zero.
